CBS’s The Big Bang Theory resumes taping this week after the last holdouts for the series completed their contract negotiations and saw a rise in salary.
Variety reported that the series resumed production after the final hold outs who were Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar got massive salary upgrades yesterday.
Helberg and Nayyar will reportedly take home a good bit more than they did previously, making somewhere in the six-figure range per episode, which is a pretty dramatic rise from around $100,000 per episode that they were taking home prior to now.
The three top actors are reportedly now taking home about a million per episode. According to Variety, the two actors tried to get a salary that was close to the main stars, but Warner Bros. ultimately made them a take-it-or-leave-it offer and was prepared to write them out of the script.
